This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) describes how Clario Tech DMCC, with its principal office at Jumeirah Lakes Towers, Dubai, UAE (“we,” “us,” “our,” or the “Provider”) collects, uses, shares, and protects information in connection with the delivery of its remote information technology support services, including but not limited to the Security Tech Care Service by Premium Services (collectively, the “Services”).

This Policy applies to:

  • Visit our website, or any website of ours that links to this privacy policy;
  • Remote assistance sessions conducted by our technical specialists;
  • Software tools and platforms used to deliver remote support;
  • Communications between the Client and our personnel (including phone calls, online chats, and emails);
  • Any personal data, business information, or system data accessed or processed in the course of providing Services.
  • Engage with us in other related ways ― including any sales, marketing, or events

By using our Services, you acknowledge and agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy.

1. Information We Collect

What personal information do we process? When you visit, use, or navigate our Services, we may process personal information depending on how you interact with us and the Services, the choices you make, and the products and features you use. We do not process sensitive personal information.

We may collect and process the following categories of information during the provision of Services:

(a) Client Contact and Business Information (Personal Information)

  • Name, job title, company name;
  • Business email address, phone number, and other contact details.

(b) Technical and System Information

  • Device identifiers (computer name, IP address, operating system, browser version);
  • Installed applications, configurations, and network settings relevant to troubleshooting;
  • Diagnostic and log files;
  • etc.

(c) Service Interaction Data

  • Recordings of remote sessions such as support tickets, chat transcripts, and phone recordings (where permitted by law and with notice);
  • Communications with support personnel (emails, chats, or calls);
  • Metadata about the service interaction (timestamps, session duration, troubleshooting steps taken)

(d) Payment Data

When you make a purchase, we may collect certain information necessary to process your payment, such as your payment card number and the security code associated with your payment instrument. Please note that we do not store or directly handle this information. All payment data is collected, processed, and stored by our third-party payment service provider in accordance with its privacy and security practices.

(e) Credentials

User credentials (login and password) are used for the service provision. We do not store this data, but we require it during the remote sessions, as it is the only way to apply changes for devices/systems.

2. How And Why We Use Information

In Short: We process your information to provide, improve, and administer our Services, communicate with you, for security and fraud prevention, and to comply with the law. We may also process your information for other purposes with your consent.

We only process your personal information when we believe it is necessary and we have a valid legal reason (i.e., legal basis) to do so under applicable law, like with your consent, to comply with laws, to provide you with services to enter into or fulfill our contractual obligations, to protect your rights, or to fulfill our legitimate business interests.

We process your personal information for a variety of reasons, depending on how you interact with our Services, including:

1. Service Delivery and Performance (Contractual Necessity)

  • To provide, operate, maintain, and improve the Services as agreed with Clients;
  • To process transactions, fulfill orders, and manage service requests;
  • To personalize and optimize the Client experience

2. Authentication, Security, and Fraud Prevention (Legitimate Interests / Legal Obligation)

  • To authenticate Client representatives and authorize access to the Services;
  • To detect, prevent, and investigate fraud, abuse, or unlawful activity;
  • To maintain the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of systems and data.

3. Client Support and Communications (Contractual Necessity / Legitimate Interests)

  • To troubleshoot and resolve technical issues;
  • To communicate regarding service updates, system changes, account activity, and support requests;
  • To provide onboarding, training, and service guidance.

4. Legal and Regulatory Compliance (Legal Obligation)

  • To comply with applicable laws, regulations, industry standards, and contractual commitments;
  • To respond to lawful requests from courts, regulators, and law enforcement authorities;
  • To establish, exercise, or defend against legal claims.

5. Quality, Research, and Service Improvement (Legitimate Interests)

  • For internal training, quality assurance, auditing, and risk management;
  • To conduct analytics, usage monitoring, and benchmarking;
  • To develop, test, and enhance features, products, or service offerings.

6. Business Operations and Corporate Transactions (Legitimate Interests / Legal Obligation)

  • To manage billing, invoicing, accounting, and financial records;
  • To support mergers, acquisitions, restructuring, or similar business activities;
  • For governance, reporting, and business continuity purposes.

7. Processing With Consent (Consent)

  • For additional purposes disclosed at the time of collection and agreed by the Client;
  • For marketing communications, promotional activities, or optional features where explicit consent is required;
  • Clients may withdraw consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing prior to withdrawal.

We will not sell or rent your data to third parties.

3. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We may share information only as necessary and under appropriate safeguards:

  • With third-party vendors and service providers who perform services for us or on our behalf and require access to such information to do that work, subject to confidentiality and data protection obligations.
  • We have contracts in place with our third parties, which are designed to help safeguard your personal information. This means that they cannot do anything with your personal information unless we have instructed them to do it. They will also not share your personal information with any organization apart from us. They also commit to protecting the data they hold on our behalf and to retaining it for the period we instruct.
  • Business Partners. We may share your information with our business partners to offer you certain products, services, or promotions.
  • With regulators, courts, or government authorities when legally required;
  • In business transfers (e.g., merger, acquisition, or sale of assets), subject to continued protections under this Policy.

We will not sell or rent your data to third parties.

4. International Data Transfer

As a global service provider, we may transfer information across borders, including to jurisdictions that may not provide the same level of data protection as your home country. In such cases, we implement appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission) to ensure lawful data transfers.

5. How Do We Keep Your Information Safe?

In Short: We aim to protect your personal information through a system of organizational and technical security measures.

We have implemented appropriate and reasonable technical and organizational security measures designed to protect the security of any personal information we process. However, despite our safeguards and efforts to secure your information, no electronic transmission over the Internet or information storage technology can be guaranteed to be 100% secure, so we cannot promise or guarantee that hackers, cybercriminals, or other unauthorized third parties will not be able to defeat our security and improperly collect, access, steal, or modify your information. Although we will do our best to protect your personal information, transmission of personal information to and from our Services is at your own risk. You should only access the Services within a secure environment.

6. Data Retention

In Short: We keep your information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this privacy policy unless otherwise required by law.

We retain personal and service-related data only as long as necessary to:

  • Fulfill the purposes described in this Policy;
  • Comply with legal and regulatory requirements;
  • Resolve disputes and enforce agreements.

Session data, recordings, and logs will be retained for a period of one (1) year. Call recordings will be retained for a period of two (2) years, unless a longer retention period is required by applicable law or expressly agreed in writing between the Provider and the Client.

When we have no ongoing legitimate business need to process your personal information, we will either delete or anonymize such information, or, if this is not possible (for example, because your personal information has been stored in backup archives), then we will securely store your personal information and isolate it from any further processing until deletion is possible.

7. What Are Your Privacy Rights

In Short: Depending on your place of residence — for example, certain U.S. states (such as California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Maryland, Montana, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Oregon, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, or Virginia) or regions such as the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom (UK), Switzerland, and Canada — you may have specific rights over your personal information. These rights provide you with greater access to and control of your data. You may also review, update, or close your account at any time, subject to the applicable local laws.

Any material changes will be communicated to Clients by posting an updated version on our website or by other reasonable means. Continued use of the Services after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
