Having spent 7+ years in the content creation industry, Yana joined MacKeeper for a new challenge—becoming a lead of native writers and translators. As a second language learner herself, she critically questioned her fitting to the role, even though English was her major at University, and she worked with English throughout her career. We all suffer from imposter syndrome from time to time, but there’s a day to сast off the fears and act, right? So she accepted the challenge and enjoyed what it brought to her.
Becoming part of MacKeeper’s team meant that Yana needed to quickly and deeply understand the user’s side in utilizing the MacKeeper app and getting acquainted with the competitors’ solutions to feel the difference. She also built the habit of regularly investigating what happens on the Apple market to be aware of the latest news.
Now, together with her team, she’s actively engaged in developing MacKeeper’s blog as a dish served to users from different corners of the world. What’s all that about? Giving tasks to copywriters and translators, editing articles, conducting industry research, managing the posting calendar, and coming up with initiatives to improve the blog’s quality. All this is for one big result—having you, users, satisfied with what you see and read in there.
To unwind and recharge her batteries, Yana spends her free time on sports (jogging, yoga, and pilates), reading, outdoor walks, traveling, and meeting with friends. She dreams of writing a book one day, accumulating the stories for its plot.
