2. Remove Grammarly app

Here are the simple steps to remove the Grammarly app:

  1. Open Finder and go to Applications.
  2. Find the Grammarly icon.

3. Delete remaining files

As we mentioned earlier, simply getting rid of the app isn’t enough. We believe it’s equally important to clear the application cache on macOS. We recommend deleting any associated files that are no longer necessary, as they can take up valuable space on your Mac.

  1. Open Finder, then click Go from the menu bar.
  2. Select Go to Folder from the dropdown menu.
  3. Use the following command: ~/Library/Caches/, then press Enter.
  4. Find any Grammarly files, and drag them to the Trash.
  5. Repeat the process using the ~/Library/Application Support/ and ~/Library/Saved Application State/ commands.
  6. Go to the Trash, hit the Empty button, then click Empty Trash to confirm.
